Guava Pie...

2 15oz cans Conchita Guava Shells
1 tablespoon corn starch
4 tablespoons lime juice or juice of 2 limes
1 8 inch pie shell (prebaked)
Separate the guava shells from the syrup and place into a bowl. Pour syrup from the cans of guava shells into a sauce pan (approximately 1 cup). Heat syrup to a boil. Mix the corn starch into the lime juice and once dissolved, stir into the syrup. While stirring constantly, reduce the heat and simmer a few minutes, until thickened. Pour a thin layer of the mixture on the bottom of the pie shell. Turn guava shells inside out and place in concentric circles in the crust with folds down. Pour the remaining syrup mixture over the fruit. Place in freezer until the fruit and syrup and chilled throughout and firm.
